Fattu Chak is located in North-West of Sialkot, founded by Chaudhry Fateh Din. It is a small state of the Virk caste. Virk is a gotra of the Jat clan. In Pakistan and India, Virk is considered as a Punjabi tribe.
Since the district Sialkot is situated at the feet of the snow-covered peaks of Kashmir, one can view the hills of Jammu from the village Fattu Chak. The main crops are wheat, rice and sugarcane, which are exported to other countries. The rice produced here in Sialkot is among world's best basmati rice for its quality and nutritious value.

 

Chaudhry Fateh Din
Chaudhry Fateh Din, a landlord and scholar of Sialkot, founded the state Fattu Chak after his name in tehsil Sambrial, district Sialkot, in 17th century.
At that time, Chaudhry Fateh Din had travelled from Punjab to Gulf for pilgrimage and Central Asia to visit the sufis and thier shrines. The shrine of Chaudhry Fateh Din is located in Fattu Chak.

 

Chaudhry Ilam Din
Chaudhry Ilam Din son of Chaudhry Fateh Din, put his efforts in securing the lands from outsiders. It was a time when British would try to keep the tribes and states on thier side which was rejected all over India. However, later British were able to sow the seeds of contention between the Hindus, Muslims and Sikhs. Chaudhry Ilam Din had been resisting against such pro-British elements. 

 

Chaudhry Muhammad Hussain
Chaudhry Muhammad Hussain, son of Chaudhry Ilam Din was also influenced by the mystical part of Islam i.e. Sufism. He was a scholar of his time. For his scholarly services, he was given the title of Qazi (judge).

 

Chaudhry Ghulam Rasul
Chaudhry Ghulam Rasun, son of Chaudhry Muhammad Hussain was born when Indian sub-continent was occupied by the British. He showed his interest in modern education, that was English, and completed his high school (1933). He was fluent in seven languages which were, Punjabi, Gurumkhi, Hindi, Persian, Arabic, Sanskrit and English. He collected a huge number of books for his personal library including the rare medical books, English literature, poetry of Punjabi poets (Heer Waris Shah, Saif-ul-Malook to name a few). At times people could see him reading the poetry in a melodeous tune.
Later he took interest in Ayurveda. Ayurveda deals with the measures of healthy living, along with therapeutic measures that relate to physical, mental, social and spiritual harmony. Ayurveda is also one among the few traditional systems of medicine involving surgery.
After partition of India in 1947, he took exam and got certified from the government as grade one registered hakeem (herbal doctor). People would come from remote areas to him for cure. 
Chaudhry Ghulam Rasul also founded Almas Company, (publishers and printers). He died in 1987.

 

Musthaq Ahmad Chaudhry
Mushtaq Chaudhry, son of Chaudhry Ghulam Rasul was born in 1946, also got education from school and college and later moved to Lahore, provincial capital of Punjab. He joined government service and has been appointed on key positions. At first, he served in Ministry of Foreign Affairs and later switched to M/o Information and Broadcasting. He was retired as Deputy Principal Information Officer. He died on March 2007 in Islamabad. His soul is resting in peace in Fattu Chak, Sialkot, next to his forefathers.

 

Waqas Ahmad Chaudhry
Waqas Chaudhry son of Mushtaq Chaudhry (residing in USA), has got a degree in computer sciences. Waqas Chaudhry has been writing articles published by national Urdu dailies and journals. Impressed by his father who was in Information & Broadcasting ministry, he always had an interest in print and electronic media. In 2000, he joined Zamana Group of Newspapers that owns The Balochistan Times and daily Zamana. After two years of work for print media, he got hired in the Consulate General of Uruguay. Almost after an year of working at the consulate, he was immigrated to USA.
Waqas Chaudhry is a full member of South Asian Journalists Association (SAJA), New York.

 

Zulqernain Ahmad Chaudhry

Zulqernain Chaudhry son of Mushtaq Chaudhry is serving in M/O Information in Islamabad.
